Set in the scenic farmlands of
eastern Pennsylvania, Longswamp
Bed and Breakfast is on the border of Berks
and Lehigh Counties - just minutes from
Allentown, Macungie, Kutztown and Reading.
We are approximately 8 miles (on a traffic free scenic country
road!) from Kutztown University and Kutztown Festival. About 3 miles from
the Macungie car shows. Equidistant from Quakertown and Lehigh Valley exits
on I-476. We have a large paved driveway and parking lot that can accommodate trailers and RV's (no septic
facilities).

From the East or West
use I-78
Take
I-78 and exit at #54a-Rte.222 south. After exit ramp proceed straight
following signs for Rte. 222 south.
Follow
Rte.222 south and it will split into Rte 222 south and Rte 100 south. Bear
left onto Rte 100 south. At second light after split make right onto Spring
Creek Road.
Stay
on Spring Creek Road
for approximately 1.6 miles into Alburtis.
After you cross the triple R/R tracks make immediate right onto Front Street.
(before Iron Horse Bar, look for Coke
machine)
Stay
on Front Street for approximately 2.5 miles (it changes name to Longswamp
Road) , then bear left
onto Smith Street
(small road)
Approximately
3/10 of a mile on left is Longswamp B&B. Make left into driveway with
sign, proceed to rear parking lot. Follow walkway past light post, make
right through gate and go to Main House (rear screened porch) for welcome
and registration.
From Philadelphia Airport
Follow
airport exit signs to
I-95 south and I-476.
Take
I-95 south (short distance) to I-476 north and exit at #44 Quakertown Rte.663
After
toll bear right onto Rte 663 south.
Go
approx. 5 miles and make right onto Rte 29 north.
Go
approx. 4.8 miles to intersection with Rte. 100.
Proceed
straight across Rte. 100. Do not turn.
Go
approx. 7 miles, B&B will be on right, and make right onto Smith Street. Pull into 1st driveway on right. Park
in the rear lot and follow walkway past light post, make right through gate
and go to Main House (rear screened porch) for welcome and registration.
